A summary of the event...

The level of play from all four teams was impressive, but Standard Athletic proved to be a little bit too strong against the Juveniles in the final on Sunday. Having been presented with a target of 119 runs to win, Standard Athletic finished on 120 runs for 3 wickets from 18.3 overs.

In the morning’s game, The Embassy squeezed past Chantilly to take third place in the tournament.

There were many standout performers over the weekend, but none more so than Jonathan Riches, the talented all-rounder from Standard Athletic. Jonathan claimed the man of the series award with an entertaining and strong display with, and without, the bat.

The Bowler of the series award was claimed by Julian Howe of the Standard Athletic club for his precise bowling throughout.

The Batsman of the series award went to Dan Erith of the Juveniles Cricket Club for hitting a massive 118 runs not out in his team’s victory over Chantilly on Saturday.

The final award the “Wicket of the series” award went to Abhishake Mondal of the Embassy Cricket club for his beautiful dismissal of Jonathan Riches on the Saturday.

Also we need to thank all four teams for putting up such a good display, and the Umpire Mr David Rhodes who did a marvellous job of officiating the matches
